Baby bears
Welcome to our warm and nurturing Baby Bears room at Victoria Nursery. Designed with comfort, safety, and exploration in mind, our baby room is a calm and engaging space where our youngest children, aged 3 to 22 months, can thrive.
The room is thoughtfully arranged across two areas to allow for small group activities, sensory play, and restful naps. With soft flooring and age-appropriate resources, babies can safely explore their surroundings while developing their early motor and sensory skills.
Our dedicated team provides individualised care, ensuring each baby receives plenty of attention, cuddles, and support as they grow. From feeding and nappy changes to singing lullabies and engaging in one-on-one interactions, we create a secure and loving environment where babies feel at home.
We prioritise cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring that our baby room is regularly sanitised with baby-safe products. Whether your little one is beginning to crawl, take their first steps, or simply enjoying the sensory-rich environment, our baby room is the perfect place for them to begin their nursery journey.

Little bears 1
Little Bears 1 is a vibrant and engaging space tailored for children aged 22 to 29 months. At this stage, children are developing their independence and social skills, and our carefully designed environment encourages them to explore and interact confidently.
The room is filled with age-appropriate toys, sensory materials, and creative play areas that stimulate learning and curiosity. Our team of experienced practitioners carefully plan activities that support early communication, problem-solving, and physical development. From imaginative role-play corners to interactive storytime, there’s always something exciting happening in Little Bears 1.
We understand the importance of routine and structure for toddlers, so we provide a well-balanced day filled with indoor and outdoor play, quiet time, and opportunities for free expression. The nurturing environment in Little Bears 1 helps children build confidence and prepare for their transition to the next stage of their learning journey.

Little bears 2

Little Bears 2 is designed for children aged 30 to 39 months, providing an engaging and stimulating space that supports their growing independence and early learning.
This stage is all about refining communication, making friends, and building confidence through play.
The room offers a variety of interactive resources, including construction materials, art stations, and literacy-rich areas to encourage creative expression and early problem-solving skills.
Our team focuses on fostering positive relationships, teaching children how to share, take turns, and express themselves effectively.
With structured learning experiences, sensory activities, and plenty of outdoor time, Little Bears 2 provides the perfect balance between child-led play and guided learning. This environment prepares children for their next developmental stage as they transition towards preschool.

Big bears
Big Bears is our preschool room, catering to children aged 40 months to 5 years as they prepare for their transition to primary school. This space is designed to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and independence in a stimulating and engaging environment.
The Big Bears classroom is located at the bottom of our large garden in our purpose-built Cabin, offering a unique learning space separate from the main nursery. Inside, children have access to a range of educational materials, from early literacy and numeracy resources to creative arts and imaginative play.
Our preschool curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, covering all areas of development, including communication and language, physical development, personal and social skills, literacy, mathematics, and understanding the world. Through a mix of structured learning experiences and child-led exploration, we encourage children to become confident, inquisitive learners.
A key feature of our Big Bears room is its outdoor environment. The children have access to their own separate garden, featuring a climbing tree, mud kitchen, balance logs, and a forest school-inspired area developed by our Level 3 Forest School Leader. Outdoor learning plays a vital role in their development, helping to build resilience, creativity, and a connection to nature.
At Victoria Nursery, we believe that every child deserves a rich and fulfilling early years experience. Our Big Bears room provides the perfect foundation for school readiness, encouraging independence, curiosity, and a love for learning.
